Lunik IX
In Kosice, Slovakia’s second biggest city, there’s a borough called LunĂk IX. It’s the biggest Roma ghetto in Europe. The living standards are poor, with services such as gas, water and electricity cut off.
Approximately 7 500 Romas are living in this small area built for one-third. Children are growing up in miserable conditions, playing in garbage and amidst dead animals.
